Umi-no Soba

In a continuation of our Concerts Near Various Large Bodies of Water – Well, Mostly Just the Pacific Ocean series, this Saturday at noon, Hidari and friends will be playing at Kobe’s Meriken Park for the Kobe Biennale ‘07 festival.

Uminosoba

The following bands will be appearing:

Shibuya Heart Attack

Those in Tokyo might be interested in this. On November 24th and 25th, Bad News Records is putting on their yearly Shibuya Heart Attack show/festival/shit-ton of bands playing on the same day in the same general area/event thing. For ¥3500, you get a three day pass (there’s something going on on Monday, the 26th as well, but I’ll be damned if I can figure out what) and access to four simultaneous gigs in Shibuya on each day, as well as a 2-CD sampler chock-full of songs from the various acts that will be performing. Tickets can be found at the HMV, Tower Records, and Tsutaya in Shibuya, as well as from High Line Records or directly from the bands themselves.

Hooray.

Yuricorn – #026

Continuing the recent spate of videos, our friends Yuricorn have made a new music video that is up on YouTube. Good stuff:

Also, bonus 026 remix.

Bad days

This is what I feel like on stage sometimes.

We attended Joshibu’s Tonari-no Bandoman v2 last night. We played at the first edition way back in the day. Watusi Zombie, Valva, BLONDnewHALF, Receivers Pon-Pon Head and others caused many pairs of underwear to be soiled.

Paiyama tonight.

Paiyama

I’ve added a little box on the front page indicating when we will next play on the street downtown. This may prove to be an extremely poor idea, as we often don’t settle on a time or date until a day or two before (or in many cases, a few hours before). We’ll see how it goes. I’ve also added a map, for those who aren’t familiar with Kobe’s breast mountains.

Whee!
